Les Anges font le ménage est le dernier court-métrage de fiction écrit, réalisé et co-produit par Valérie Lecomte.
Le film a été produit dans le cadre de La Course des régions pancanadienne 2021, Valérie Lecomte faisant partie de 10 réalisateurs francophones sélectionnés, dans tout le Canada, pour réaliser un court-métrage de moins de 11 minutes entre le 15 septembre et le 10 novembre 2021, de la pré-production à la post-production. 


Les Anges font le ménage is Valérie Lecomte's latest work as a writter, director and co-producer. 
The film has been produced thanks to La Course des régions pancanadienne 2021.
Valérie Lecomte as been selected, amongst 10 francophone directors all over Canada. The directors had less than 8 weeks to complete their films from pre-production to post-production.

Sujet / Subject
 
Deux femmes, Claire et Chloé, se rencontrent à la fin d’une pièce de théâtre francophone. Leur complicité est immédiate et Claire confie à Chloé qu’elle vient d’adopter sa nièce, Manon (9 ans), la fille de sa demi-sœur, Ina, décédée des suites d’un cancer et de père inconnu.
 
Claire and Chloé meet at the end of a play and start talking as a new friendship seems to emerge. Claire confide that with her husband and two kids, they have just adopted Manon (9 years old), her niece from France. The little girl has lost her mum from a cancer. The dad is unknown.
